The most effective way to style a bedroom is to start with the bed as the focal point. We’ve created a calm and inviting environment with the use of warm and neutral coloured bed linen which complements the style of this bed. Choose accessories that are in keeping with the era and style of the furniture. Here, the neutral colours have then been carried over to some of the accessories within the room and we’ve added larger accessories such as the vintage leather suitcases, the retro telephone and the dressmakers’ mannequin for impact. Clusters of smaller colourful accessories are extremely effective in adding a flash of vibrant colour to the room – here we’ve grouped together different coloured accessories of similar heights. Variations in height, colour and texture can add further impact if required. Finally, hints of metallic accessories really finish off the room adding glamour and decadence to the neutral pallet.
